Our experience includes acting for liquidators pursuing
directors for breaches of duties under the Companies Act 1993;
defending a director against allegations of negligence and personal
liability in connection with property development projects; acting
for banks and corporates in connection with debt recovery/pursuit
of recovery under personal guarantees; obtaining freezing order
relief in NZ on behalf of UK client in connection with failed
franchise arrangements; advising liquidators on corporate
contractual obligations and options to achieve recovery of company
debts; advising and acting for landlords of commercial property on
a variety of lease disputes; advising employers and employees in
relation to employment disputes, representing them in the
Employment Relations Authority and at mediation and advising
companies of their employment obligations in relation to
restructuring.
