
Robin Harrington
Special Counsel
Robin heads our litigation team. She has more than 30 years’ experience practising commercial, civil and relationship property litigation in New Zealand, both in large law firms and in sole practice. She has advised and represented a wide range of clients, from New Zealand’s largest companies, to smaller businesses, community groups and individuals.
Robin has a pragmatic, straightforward approach to law. She recognises that legal answers need to be balanced against commercial realities and looks for cost effective and practical solutions, including through mediation.
Robin and our litigation team often work with barristers and King’s Counsel in specialist areas of law including intellectual property, employment, family and trust disputes.
Robin has held a number of community positions including Honorary Solicitor for local and national clubs and groups. She also has a BA(Hons) and is fluent in French. Outside law Robin bike packs, rows and participates in Waka Ama.
Robin was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in 1992.
